What exactly is changing?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-rounded\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ebenefity.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/mailing-predel-800x220-v2.jpg\" alt=\"zdrav\u00ed zam\u011bstnanc\u016f\" class=\"wp-image-21805\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As of January 1, 2025, significant legislation has come into force that expands the options in the area of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upcz.cz\/en\/what-we-offer\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.upcz.cz\/en\/what-we-offer\/\">employee benefits<\/a>. In addition to increasing the existing limits for leisure activities, it also introduces a new benefit focused solely on health promotion. This will give companies a powerful tool to ensure the physical and mental well-being of their employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>New limits: Health and leisure within reach<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the new tax-advantaged benefit, it is now possible to use the<strong> annual limit of the average wage for health care, which for 2025 is CZK 46,557<\/strong>. Employees will thus be able to draw support for health check-ups, rehabilitation, consultations with a psychologist or preventive programmes. This change will allow companies to invest in prevention and significantly contribute to the quality of life of their employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The popular <strong>limit for<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebenefity.cz\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ebenefity.cz\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> leisure activities<\/a><\/strong> has also been increased, which will now correspond to half of the average wage, i.e. <strong>CZK 23,278<\/strong>. These funds can be used, for example, for sports, cultural experiences, education or holidays, which will support the balance between employees&#8217; work and personal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why focus on health?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Statistics from 2024 highlight the growing problem of incapacity for work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>50% of employees have been on sick leave at least once.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The average length of sick leave was 32.5 days, with long-term absences often lasting up to 97 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On average, 227,800 people were absent from the workplace every day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The main causes include musculoskeletal problems and psychological difficulties such as stress or burnout. New health benefits allow companies to target these problems and provide better working conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Convenient for employees and companies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Investing in health benefits brings companies not only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebenefity.cz\/en\/employer\/tax-advantage\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ebenefity.cz\/en\/employer\/tax-advantage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tax relief<\/a>, but also long-term benefits in the form of lower absenteeism and higher employee satisfaction.
