Which legal regulations define the obligation for whistleblowing?
At the European level, this obligation is introduced by Directive EU 2019/1937. In the Czech legal system, it is governed by the Whistleblower Protection Act No. 171/2023 Coll., effective from August 1, 2023.
Does the Whistleblowing module monitor legal deadlines? How?
Yes. Companies are required to comply with legal deadlines. The module automatically monitors them through notifications sent to designated persons.
Does the module also protect the identity of the whistleblower?
Protecting the identity of the whistleblower is absolutely crucial. Personal data is known only to the designated person, the Whistleblowing Officer. Reports are visible only to this authorized person to prevent retaliation.
